Warranty
“KUSAM – MECO” warrants to the original product purchaser that each product it supplies will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service within a period of one year (12 months) (Except “UL” listed products which have Two year warranty (24 months)) from the date of purchase by the first buyer.
To obtain warranty service, contact your nearest “KUSAM – MECO” authorized dealer or send the product, with proof of purchase and description of the difficulty, postage and insurance prepaid, to “KUSAM – MECO”. “KUSAM – MECO” assumes no risk for damage in transit. “KUSAM – MECO” will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product free of charge. However, if KUSAM - MECO determines that the failure was caused by misuse, altered, neglected, or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation or handling, you will be billed for the repair.
“KUSAM – MECO’s” warranty does not apply to accessories, IC’s, fuses, fusible resistors, spark gaps, batteries or any product which, in “KUSAM – MECO’s” opinion, has been misused, altered, neglected, contaminated or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation or handling.
“KUSAM-MECO” authorized dealer shall extend this warranty on new and unused products to end-user customers only but have no authority to extend a greater or different warranty on behalf of “KUSAM-MECO”.
“KUSAM-MECO’s” warranty obligation is limited, at option, free of charge repair, or replacement of a defective product which is returned to a “KUSAM-MECO” authorized service center within the warranty period.
THIS WARRANTY IS BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. “KUSAM-MECO” SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER.
Any dealer / customer wanting to avail post-warranty calibration services should forward the meters to KUSAM-MECO, Mumbai at their cost & risk along with calibration charges. The meters so received will be calibrated and sent back. In case any instrument needs repairs beyond warranty period, it will be chargeable in addition to the calibration charges.
All transaction are subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction.
